KID STUFF!

Here are some shots from Kid Stuff at 529 in East Atlanta. Probably one of the highest energy bands I've seen. It's obvious that have one goal in mind: to dance and have fun. Okay well two goals. As I was saying...pictures...

The Collective's Rising Sons and Bang! Arts Promotions

Pretty eventful weekend. Did some production shots for The Collective's Rising Sons on Friday evening and then went down to Eyedrum for Bang! Arts' company launch party where my friend Aaron Whitehouse was playing and had some work on display.

Bang! seems like they are going to be doing some good things for art and our community. Definitely worth keeping an eye on. Here are a couple Rising Sons shots and then a couple of some trapeze/aerialist action as well as Aaron from Eyedrum.

The Collective's Voodoo Revue

The Collective held their fund/awareness raiser for their upcoming production Rising Sons last Saturday. They held it at a local artist compound/co-op/studio/living space/farm called The Goat Farm. It was an old New Orleans style Mardi Gras event complete with music, dancing, fortune telling, magic, living art, a clown, someone being resurrected from the dead, and someone being crowned king. Oh. And a Voodoo Dragon. You had to be there to believe it. Here are a couple of my favorite shots, but to see the whole album click here.
